Sauna rules, waiver and cancellations

Rules for sauna use. Please consult your doctor if you have any health issues or doubts about using the sauna safely. Drugs, medication or alcohol before or during a session can lead to dizziness or unconsciousness; if you take any medication, check with your doctor or pharmacist first.

Nobody under 16 may use the sauna. If you have an open wound you can't use the sauna. If you are pregnant, please consult a doctor first: high body temperature can harm a baby in early pregnancy.

Keep to 40 minutes at a time at most and take regular breaks. Drink water before and after. Don't eat for an hour or two before, shower first if you can, and skip lotions and make-up. Stop if you feel light-headed, dizzy or overheated.

Take a break after the sauna before using the steps, wear suitable footwear and use the handrail.

It is your responsibility to monitor your body and decide whether the sauna is right for you. When you book, you accept the risks of sauna use, including injury, and release Happy Place Saunas and its people from claims arising from your use of the sauna, for this and every later session.

Cancelling: up to 24 hours before your session you can cancel for a full refund or move to another time. Between 24 and 8 hours before, we'll move your booking to another time. We can't take cancellations within 24 hours, as we're unlikely to fill the space at short notice.

Payment is made on arrival. Please arrive five minutes before your session; sessions start and finish on time.
